HMDA Reporting for 2018 Applications

Changes made to Regulation C and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) will affect data collection and reporting for 2017 and 2018. However, what’s applicable in 2017 won’t always be applicable in 2018. The majority of the HMDA reporting changes take effect for applications where final action is taken in 2018. Loans coverage shifts from purpose-based to collateral-based. There are also a large number of new data collection points that credit unions need to prepare for. This session will provide an overview of what credit unions need to know about data collection and reporting for loans acted on during the 2018 calendar year.
