Regulators are concerned with the adverse impact to the financial system as a whole that climate change is having. Weaknesses are being exposed in how financial institutions are identifying, measuring, and monitoring the physical and transition risks associated with climate change will have.

In this session, we will discuss the efforts our regulatory agencies are taking to review the effects of climate change on our current banking system. We will review discussions you need to have at your next strategic planning meeting to ensure your board is prepared for their oversight responsibilities. We will also dive into how to update your policies to reflect environmental issues, including credit risk considerations.
