In this presentation, author and Excel expert David H. Ringstrom, CPA will take you on a journey to master the Excel features that transform the way you handle data, enabling you to expedite tasks and analyze information more effectively.

You'll learn the intricacies of PivotTables, from identifying ideal data sets to refreshing and optimizing your PivotTables with recommended layouts. David will demonstrate the power of sorting—whether by color, custom lists, or other criteria—and how to enhance data analysis through Excel's advanced sorting features. He will guide you through the nuances of filtering data, adding ad hoc totals, and employing slicers to create dynamic Excel tables.

Get ready to dive into the sophisticated world of Excel 2021's functions like FILTER, SORT, and UNIQUE, and explore how these can revolutionize your data workflows. This session will also cover conditional formatting tricks, the art of removing duplicates, and leveraging structured references with the SUMIF function.

Finally, enhance your problem-solving arsenal with an introduction to Excel's Goal Seek and Solver add-ins, and learn how to streamline text manipulation with the Flash Fill tool.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to Excel, this webinar is designed to equip you with the skills to navigate and manipulate data with unprecedented ease and confidence.

David is the author of “Exploring Microsoft Excel's Hidden Treasures: Turbocharge your Excel proficiency with expert tips, automation techniques, and overlooked features”. He demonstrates every technique at least twice: first, on a PowerPoint slide with numbered steps, and second, in the subscription-based Excel for Microsoft 365. David draws your attention to any differences in Excel 2021, 2019 or 2016 during the presentation and in his detailed handouts. The handouts include an Excel workbook with most of the examples he uses during his demonstrations.
